VAGABOND Outdoor Club
Adventure guiding and community building
near Boulder, Colorado.
The reason why V.O.C. does everything outside is, because we want to continue teaching about the importance of building our connection to the natural world around us. Especialy because most of us live in the city with constant lights and constant noise, where we have to be constantly protecting our energies, we dont get grounded all that often! We have to consciously incorporate it into our everday lives and practices. The more we can do things outside, the better. The more grounded we get. The more in tune we get with our senses.
Hi! My name is Ella and I'm the owner of Vagabond Outdoor Club LLC (V.O.C.). My goal and mission is create a hub that the community can utilize in order to learn and to grow. Not only in the realm of outdoor and survival skills, in what ever realm that is brought to the table. The "club" dynamic offers space for anyone to share a skill or workshop, and it offers opportunity to collaborate with others, to gain resources, and to network. V.O.C is an everygrowing community of artists, musicians, athletes, engineers, wellness practitioners, herbalists, and outdoor folk wanting to hold space or offer a class or a workshop, and all under the open sky!
The Hummingbird Membership: This is for people who just want to participate in the classes and workshops.
The Moose Membership: Is for people wanting to hold space, or to teach and class or workshop.
Hey friend,
Welcome to Vagabond Outdoor Club's (V.O.C.) website. Where you can learn more about V.O.C.'s mission and learn why we are a club. You can sign up for our email list here to stay updated about new workshops and adventure opportunities that we are hosting, like the next Full Moon Hike. And where you can find information about scheduling a consultation with The Rocky Mountain Sherpa/Mountain Guide.
Ella (founder of V.O.C. and our Sherpa"/mountain guide) created V.O.C. not only to teach what she knows about the outdoors, she also wants to create a platform where other, qualified, outdoor enthusiasts can teach their skillset in a safe outdoor setting. A hub that build community around. Her dream is promote opportunities and experiences not just to the average outdoorsmen, but to the individuals who seldom get to experience nature. Those whom rarely have the opportunity (or dont know how) to go camping, sleep on the ground, cook on an open fire, hike under the full moon, catch a fish, learn to shoot a bow and arrow, carve a wooden spoon, build a survival shelter, learn fire building, see a bear, etc... These are all experiences that V.O.C. offers that also connect us deeper to our selves. That help to highlight our core values and help us to love our inner and outer strengths and weaknesses. Which is another passion of V.O.C. - finding ways to build ourselves and eachother up, by becoming more self aware and conscious through finding resources that help us walk a path of self growth and empowerment. V.O.C. does this by providing resources to spiritual outlets like sweat lodge and other kinds of ceremony. As well as sound healing and reiki.
Sign up for our emailing list to recieve a monthly email about our up and coming outdoor experiences, community events, workshops, fundraisers, and other opportunites. If you would like to apply to be a teacher or want to host a workshop, or have any other questions please reach out via phone call to Ella at 7204128826.
Cheers!
